Phenix City first responders are on the scene of a two vehicle crashes within 4,000 feet between each other on U.S. Highway 280. The first crash, which is described as minor, occurred near mile post 116.1 — near the Goodwill/Walmart area. The second crash, which is described as moderate, occurred near mile post 115.2 at US Highway 80/JR Allen off ramp. Please avoid the area, and if you can’t expect moderate delays in the area.
