Retired WTVM news anchor dies after fall at home

A retired WTVM News Leader 9 and WRBL News 3 anchor and a commentator on WLTZ 38 has passed away after reportedly suffering injuries from a fall several days ago, Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirmed.

Al Fleming fell at home and hit his head on March 5th. Fleming was placed in Columbus Hospice with a subdural hematoma, according to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan.

Fleming was 91 and reported at WTVM-TV from 1966 to 1975.
