Muscogee County Coroner’s Office welcomes along new deputy coroner

The Muscogee County Coroner’s Office welcomed a new deputy coroner to work alongside the rest of the authorities who work at the office

Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan, during the retirement party for Chief Deputy Coroner Freeman Worley, announced the name of the new deputy coroner and the deputy coroner’s badge: #683.

The new deputy coroner, who works at Striffler Hambly Mortuary, is Dustin Harrelson. Harrelson was awarded his new badge Friday afternoon. Harrelson was trained by the rest of the Coroner’s Office – which includes, Elected Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan, Muscogee County Deputy Coroner Elizabeth Allison, and Muscogee County Deputy Coroner Charles Newton – nearly a month ago and already began working death investigations in the city.
