UPDATE: Vicky White has DIED after a self inflicted gunshot wound after a pursuit ended in a crash, NewsNation is reporting.

ORIGINAL STORY: The wanted lovers, a now-fired corrections officer, Vicky White, and a capital murder suspect, Casey White, are now in custody after more than a week search ended in a pursuit.

The pursuit, which involved US Marshals, ended in a collision. Casey White was detained on scene, while Vicky White reportedly shot herself and was transported to a nearby hospital in Evansville, Indiana. This came nearly hours after US Marshals sent a press release suggesting a blue F150 truck was found at a car wash along with security tape showing Casey White walking around.

Vicky White assisted Casey White in the escape back on April 29th from the Lauderdale County. 

“We got a dangerous man off the street today,” the sheriff of Lauderdale County, Rick Singleton, said. “He is never going to see the light of day again.”
