Search underway for missing 24-year-old Opelika man last seen at Wood Duck Nature Preserve

8:15 AM UPDATE: Kent was safely located this morning. Thank you to everyone who shared and assisted in trying to find him.

The Opelika Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 24-year-old Kent Bugg.

Bugg was last seen at the Wood Duck Nature Preserve on Waverly Parkway at approximately 3:00 p.m. today, May 24th.

Kent is approximately 5-foot-11 and was wearing a blue shirt and khaki pants when he was last seen. His family has been unable to get in touch with him and are concerned for his safety.
