Multiple Opelika patrol police officers are on the scene dealing with an incident in the area of N 8th Street at 2nd Avenue on Friday afternoon.

The incident is connected with a chase that ended in a motor vehicle accident in yard of the Heritage House. Three suspects involved were apparently caught by authorities. Shots fired were also heard in the area which led to the chase.
