Columbus police are working a crash scene early Friday afternoon on St Mary’s Road.

The crash occurred at the intersection of St. Mary’s Road and Oakley Drive. We are told a patrol officer was in the area and the driver spotted the law enforcement official. A traffic stop was attempted which then led to the driver fleeing which led to the crash.

One person was seen being taken into custody on the scene. It is unknown if anyone was injured in the accident.
