Richard Harvey’s family shared this message:
“Richard Harvey also known as Yank and Richie is a loving beautiful man. He is an Army Veteran. He comes from the projects of FarRockaway, NY and went to war twice and he still made it. He died doing something he loved to do riding his motorcycle. My husband lost his mom as a young child and now his kids are facing this same fate. He has 11 siblings on his moms side and 6 on his dads side. He has so many brothers and sisters that aren’t blood but you can’t tell him that. So he is loved by soooo many. He loved his family with everything in him. He was on his way to our sons football game. In a blink of an eye so many people’s world has been flipped upside down. He is always willing to help someone. He would give you the shirt off his back. My heart is so broken but I know he is watching over us. His name and legacy will live on forever. This didn’t stop anything, it only made his plan bigger and better! I will make sure his name lives on forever.
I will continue to spread love and positivity just as you do. You changed me for the better and I will be the best me.Forever in our hearts Richard Harvey Feb.22, 1989- Sept.20,2022! I will love you forever and beyond!
We are broken right now but I know are working on that. You keep showing up right at my weakest moments and I see and hear you. Thank you for staying alive long enough for me to make it to the hospital and love on you one last time
Love your wife, Mrs. Kera Harvey aka Mrs. Yank ( I wear those names proudly and with my head held high).”
