A 33-year-old Columbus woman is deceased after being struck by a vehicle early Wednesday morning.

The collision, between a vehicle and the woman, occurred on Victory Drive near Ranger Joe’s in south Columbus.

Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirmed the pedestrian was identified as Nyteisha Adeogun. Adeogun was pronounced deceased on the scene at 7:40 A.M. by Muscogee County Deputy Coroner Elizabeth Allison. Adeogun suffered blunt force trauma injuries. The family was notified of her death.
