A major crash has shut down all lanes of travel in the town of Loachapoka in the evening hours of Thanksgiving Day.

The major crash occurred on Alabama Highway 14 at County Road 188. It is unknown what type of vehicles are involved and if anyone was injured.

Travelers are asked to avoid the area until further notice.
