Columbus woman arrested, pleads not guilty in Enoch Drive shooting last weekend

One woman is recovering from gunshot wound injuries and another is facing charges after a weekend shooting on Enoch Drive in Columbus.

Columbus Police Officers responded to the 1000 block of Enoch Drive in reference to a shooting on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 6:57 p.m.

Officers found a female victim who had been shot. The victim was transported by EMS to Piedmont Columbus Regional ER.

Further investigation revealed that the victim was involved in an argument with another female, Robin Sayers, 49. During the argument, Sayers produced a pistol and shot the victim several times. The victim’s injuries were severe but she is currently listed in stable condition.

Investigators issued and executed a search warrant at the scene. Sayers was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime. She pleaded not guilty during a preliminary hearing. The case has been bound over to Superior Court.
