A LaGrange man is being held without bond after members of the Special Investigations Unit executed a drug search warrant at the residence of 1044 Kelley Street #A on January 18, 2023, at approximately 10:40 A.M.
The basis of the search warrant stemmed from a 3-month long drug investigation where five (5) controlled purchases of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and Marijuana were conducted. The search warrant yielded approximately 2 lbs of raw marijuana, approximately 12 grams of “crack cocaine”, two (2) Schedule 2 Controlled Substances, one (1) Schedule 4 Controlled Substance, two (2) firearms, and a digital scale.
Johnson was subsequently arrested and taken into custody. Arrest warrants for Johnson included Trafficking Fentanyl, Trafficking Methamphetamine, Sale of Fentanyl, Sale of Methamphetamine, Sale of Cocaine (2 counts), Sale of Marijuana (3 counts), Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession of a Scheduled 2 Controlled Substance (2 counts), Possession of Scheduled 4 Controlled Substance, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Tampering with Evidence, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
Johnson was transported to Troup County Jail where he is currently being held without bond.
