Opelika detectives and other police officials are on the scene of a motor vehicle collision Tuesday evening.

The collision involved a motorcycle. The patient was transported by emergency medical services to East Alabama Medical Center, police confirmed to CNAW. The road of First Avenue at 17th Street is blocked by police cruisers.
