LaGrange officials are investigating a shooting which left a 15-year-old boy in unknown condition.

Officers with the LaGrange Police Department responded to the 200 block of Handley Street in reference to a subject that had been shot on February 4, 2023, at approximately 7:47 P.M.

When officers arrived, they located a male juvenile near 14 Habersham Drive with a gunshot wound in his back. Officers began medical treatment on the subject until the ambulance arrived on scene.

The juvenile was transported by ambulance to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center and later transferred to Grady Hospital in Atlanta.

The Criminal Investigations Section is currently conducting an investigation into this incident. No suspects have been identified at this time.
