A fatal single vehicle accident is under investigation by Columbus police.

The accident which occurred in the early morning hours of Monday, February 6, 2023. The accident occurred near the intersection of Miller Road at Milgen Road.

One person suffered fatal injuries. Motor Squad investigators, crime scene investigators, as well as patrol officers and medics were on scene for several hours.

The name of the deceased person is not being released at this time, Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan told CNAW. We have sent a message to Columbus Police Department for more details.
