West Point Police Department are on the scene of a stabbing incident Monday night.

The incident occurred near the intersection of East 5th Street and Avenue E in the city. One  male suffered a stab wound near his lower stomach and is listed in stable condition, police said. Police also add they have a female suspect arrested at this time. 

Police confirmed this is from a domestic violence incident and they are investigating.
