A Waverly Hall 19-year-old is deceased after a Monday morning crash in Columbus.

Columbus police officials, as well as Fire and EMS, responded to the crash site around 10:45 A.M. on Monday, February 6, 2023, where they found a motor vehicle versus a tractor trailer truck at the intersection of Woodruff Farm Road at Corporate Ridge.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to Piedmont Columbus Regional, but was later taken to Grady Hospital ICU in Atlanta for further medical treatment. The driver, identified as 19-year-old Levi Whitten, was pronounced deceased at 10:14 P.M. on Monday, according to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan. 

Police are investigating.
