The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office Drug, Gang, and Fugitive Unit, along with the United States Marshals Service, ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives), and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, in a coordinated effort, located and arrested two known fugitives on March 2nd, 2023,
Amber Crowder was being sought for the following warrants:
1. Participation in Criminal Gang Activity (4 Counts) (Felony)
2. Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime (Felony)
3. Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute (Felony)
4. Possession of Drug Related Objects (Felony)
5. Possession of THC Oil (Felony)
Crowder was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Muscogee county Jail.
Tykey Bellamy was also being sought for the following warrants:
1. Participation in Criminal Gang Activity (5 Counts) (Felony)
2. Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime (Felony)
3. Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon (Felony)
4. Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute (Felony)
5. Possession of Drug Related Objects (Felony)
At the time of his arrest, Bellamy attempted to flee the scene by crawling through a window, where he was detained by a K9 deputy. Bellamy continued to attempt to flee by jumping off a deck, taking the K9 deputy with him. Bellamy was subsequently detained and arrested.
Incident to his arrest, a search of the residence was conducted, the following items were discovered:
1. $122,318.00 in U.S. Currency
2. 98 lbs. of Marijuana with an estimated street value of $445,427.00
3. 3 Firearms
4. Multiple items depicting Gang paraphernalia and affiliations
Bellamy was charged by the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office with the following new charges:
1. Trafficking in Marijuana (Felony)
2. Aggravated Assault of a Peace Officer (Felony)
3. Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer (Felony)
4. Possession of a Firearm During the commission of a Crime (3 counts) (Felony)
5. Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon (3 counts) (Felony)
Bellamy was transported to the hospital, treated, and released. He was then transported to the Muscogee County Jail without any further incident.
