A heartbreaking day in the Beauregard community after a juvenile was killed in an overnight house fire.

Lee County Coroner Daniel Sexton confirms one juvenile has died after a house fire in the Beauregard community. The name of juvenile is being withheld until all of the family is notified.

The fire occurred around 2 A.M. today, Saturday, March 18, 2023.

The juvenile will be transported to Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences in Montgomery on Monday.

The State Fire Marshal is investigating.
