A pedestrian was fatally injured after being struck by a vehicle on South Eufaula Avenue Sunday evening.

The Eufaula Communications Division received 911 calls today to the 1000 block of South Eufaula Avenue in reference to a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.

Patrol units and Eufaula Fire Rescue responded. James Curtis Flemming, 64, of Eufaula was pronounced deceased on scene by Coroner Chip Chapman.

The crash is under investigation by the Eufaula Police Department’s Traffic Homicide Investigations Unit.
