Columbus police officers and detectives are investigating a shooting this evening on the east side of the city.

The shooting occurred on Urban Avenue. Columbus firefighters and medics responded to the scene as well.

Crime scene investigators have placed at least 10-12 crime scene markers. This is a developing story.
