A high speed chase which began in Chambers County on Interstate 85 near Exit 77 has ended in Phenix City.

The chase, involving a black dodge charger with speeds of nearly 130 miles per hour at one time, was spotted on Highway 29 N, Lee Road 379, and Highway 280. Numerous officers from Chambers County, Lee County, Phenix City, and Russell County were involved in the chase.

The chase eventually ended on U.S. Highway 280 near Home Depot. An arrest was made.
