Columbus police are investigating a shooting Thursday afternoon.

The shooting occurred at an old car wash in the 3300 block of Buena Vista Road. Sources tell CNAW2NEWS.com the victim, an adult male, was transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional with a gunshot wound to the leg. His condition is unknown.

The suspected gunman is in police custody. Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit is investigating.
