A heavy police presence was active in an east Columbus neighborhood Monday morning.

The presence, which involved SWAT team members, detectives, and police officers of the Columbus Police Department, was located in surrounding streets of Morris Road and Forestside Drive.

At least one drone was seen flying in the sky. A vehicle appeared to be crashed at the scene as well.

It is unknown if the scene is connected to the shooting on North Lumpkin Road. This is a developing story.
