A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, has claimed the life of a Lagrange, Ga., man.

Casey L. Knipp, 35, was fatally injured when the 2005 Honda motorcycle he was operating collided head-on with the 2018 Ford Explorer driven by a Lafayette resident. Knipp was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Chambers County 96, approximately one mile north of Lafayette, in Chambers County.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
