Columbus police are investigating a deadly shooting Sunday afternoon.

The investigation is taking place on Victory Drive in a grassy area behind Liberty Commons Apartments. A large crime scene has been established from Victory Drive all the way into the back of Liberty Commons apartment complex.

Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan has confirmed his office is on the way to the scene.
