Four people are dead in Coweta County following a murder-suicide.

Authorities responded to the scene on Crabapple Court shortly after 1 A.M. on June 29, 2024, as Coweta E-911 received multiple calls for assistance from the area.

Two deceased bodies were located, one in the driveway and one in the doorway, by deputies. “One male ran inside the residence and a gunshot was heard,” authorities said.

Coweta County SWAT was activated and responded to the scene. The residence was secured and a fourth deceased person was located inside the house.

The CCSO Criminal Investigation Unit is on scene and is actively investigating this incident. At this time, it appears to be a murder/suicide.

“No names are being released at this time pending the notification of family of the deceased,” they added,.
