Auburn Police have arrested an Auburn man following a grand jury indictment in a manslaughter case.

30-year-old Wesley Denzel Lindsey was arrested on a manslaughter charge on August 25, 2024. The arrest follows an investigation into a traffic fatality that occurred on October 26, 2023.
The investigation revealed that Lindsey, the driver of the sole vehicle involved, had recklessly caused the death of a pedestrian. After gathering sufficient evidence, the Auburn Police presented their findings to the Lee County District Attorney. The case was subsequently brought before a grand jury, leading to Lindsey’s indictment on the manslaughter charge.
Lindsey was located and arrested on August 25, 2024, in accordance with the grand jury indictment. He was transported to the Lee County Jail, where he is being held on a $25,000 bond.
