A Georgia man has died following a medical episode while driving which led to a crash Wednesday afternoon.

The crash occurred on Interstate 185 at Williams Rd exit during the rush hour afternoon traffic on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan identified the driver as 74-year-old Pedro Padilla Jr., of Stockbridge.

Padilla passed away from natural causes after having a cardiac event while driving which led to the crash.
