Talbot County shooting leaves man dead, another injured 

State investigators have begun a probe into a shooting that occurred in Talbot County this week.

The shooting occurred on Wednesday, January 15, 2024, around 2:10 P.M. on Tuck Person Highway. 

Georgia Bureau of Investigations said two men were involved in an argument that resulted in both men being shot.

29-year-old Fazion Terry, of Woodland, GA, was pronounced dead on the scene. The other man was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Columbus, where he was treated for injuries sustained during the shooting.

No arrest(s) have been made at this time. The investigation is active and ongoing.
