UPDATE: Panama City Beach Fire and Rescue has confirmed the fire is out at Long Beach Resort Tower 3. Several units have been damaged, but no injuries have been reported. All roads in the area are open.

The department says Battalion 30, Engine 31, Engine 32, Ladder 30, Rescue 30, along with CH31 and 32 responded to the scene, aside several Bay County, Florida Emergency Services units. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.

The hotel, according to Josie On-The-Go, is Long Beach Tower 3, located on Front Beach Road near the Walmart.

Heavy smoke can be seen billowing from one of the floors.
