Lee County deputies arrest man on enticing child charge

Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a man last month after enticing two children.

Deputies became aware of the incident when they responded to an enticing a child complaint on Lee Road 210 on September 13, 2025.

Investigators say the witness, a family friend of the victims, stated “two children came to their residence stating that they were uncomfortable being home alone because of a neighbor who had entered their house when they were alone and attempted to entice the children into sexual activity.”

Lee County deputies were able to identify the suspect as 60-year-old Joe Dan Moore, from Phenix City.
