In a statement Thursday afternoon, a Chambers County middle school announced they were aware of allegations circulating in it’s’ community.
W.F. Burns Middle School, located in the Valley community of the county, said on social media that the ‘safety and well-being of your children and everyone at WFB is our top priority.’
The school said they were aware of the recent allegations circulating within the school’s community, and the school understands that these “concerns” may be causing anxiety.
“We want to assure you that we take every allegation regarding student safety and conduct extremely seriously,” the school said. “We want to assure you that this situation has been addressed and your child is safe here at school.”
It is unclear what the allegations were exactly.
