The Harris County community is reeling after a tragic family shooting.
The shooting occurred during a domestic dispute leaving a 14-year-old boy and his 16-year-old brother dead. The suspect, who is also the teens’ stepdad, identified as Eric Grigsby, was then shot and killed by deputies during a shootout in the front yard.
The tragic incident has prompted local faith leaders and residents to come together in a display of unity, strength, and compassion.
A community-wide vigil will be held tonight at 6:00 p.m. in Hamilton Square, where residents are invited to lift up the affected family, first responders, and the community through prayer, song, and reflection.
Northside Christian Church, alongside several local youth ministers, will be present to pray with attendees and provide emotional and spiritual support.
Residents are encouraged to attend, support one another, and stand together as Harris County navigates this difficult time.
