Columbus police and other first responders are on scene of a motor vehicle collision Thursday night.

The collision, which involved a white truck crashing into a power pole, occurred in the 6300 block of Milgen Road. Power lines were seen laying across the roadway and in nearby brush.

We are told a power outage has been reported in the area, Bystanders on scene tell CNAW2News: at first, police were unable to locate the driver, but later found the unidentified driver. The driver is receiving medical treatment.

Milgen Road is shut down until further notice. Georgia Power has confirmed 386 customers are without power and an estimated restoration time has been scheduled for 1:30 a.m. on Friday.
