Columbus police are investigating a shooting Saturday night.

The shooting occurred around 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at The Hill College Living apartments, located at 3528 Gentian Boulevard. The complex is two minutes from the front steps of Columbus State University.

Several officers were seen establishing a crime scene, along with several police cruisers located near the front of the complex.

Police confirmed one victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries. No suspects were arrested.

An investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to call 911.
