A Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office vehicle was struck by another vehicle Tuesday night.

The collision happened as a Deputy Sergeant was conducting a traffic stop on JR Allen Parkway near Bradley Park Drive around 8:40 p.m.

The collision left severe damage to the deputy’s vehicle.

The deputy and the driver of the vehicle are okay.

Muscogee County Sheriff Greg Countryman asks drivers to please stay alert, keep their eyes on the road and be aware of law enforcement officers.
