Fire crews are working to extinguish a house fire in Ladonia Saturday morning.

The fire is taking place at a home on Georgia Avenue at Mississippi Street in the Livonia community of Russell County. The fire began around 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026.

Uchee Creek, Ladonia, Crawford volunteer fire departments, along with CARE Ambulance and Phenix City Police Department are on the scene.

A nearby neighbor was able to get the female occupant and her dogs out of the house. Fire operations remain underway at this hour.
