Vehicle crash, fire shuts down JR Allen Pkwy. in Columbus

Columbus Fire and EMS and Police are working a vehicle fire and crash Friday morning.

The incident happened on JR Allen Parkway near Moon Road heading westbound since the early morning hours of Friday, Feb. 13, 2026.

All lanes of JR Allen are shut down between Moon Road and River Road heading westbound, and at least one eastbound lane as well.

We are told one person was injured in a vehicle crash and fire. Their condition is unknown.

We are also told the Columbus Police Department Motor Squad is also on scene investigating.
