The search is on for a missing Enterprise toddler, as investigators are now detaining the toddler’s mother for questioning.

Two-year-old Genises Nova Reid vanished from an apartment on Apache Drive and was reported missing at 3 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 16. 2026.
Investigators say the child’s mother, Adrienne Reid, told officers she discovered Genesis was not inside the home when she went to check on her. She also reported that the door to the residence was open. As detectives conducted interviews, they determined the child had not been seen in several weeks.
Police confirmed Tuesday that Adrienne Reid is being detained for questioning. Authorities are also seeking information about a woman identified as Moriah, described as a Black female who frequented Levels Bar and Grille on Daleville Avenue in Enterprise and areas in Ozark. Investigators are asking Moriah, or anyone who knows her, to come forward if they have any information related to Genesis or her mother.
The child’s father and other relatives are fully cooperating with authorities.

Enterprise Police Chief Michael Moore said multiple local, state and federal agencies are assisting with the investigation and search efforts. A large, coordinated search operation was underway Tuesday, with authorities using strategic patterns to preserve the integrity of the scene.
Moore is asking members of the public to not be involved in the organized search and to stay clear of the designated areas but encouraged those willing to help to contact the police department for guidance.
Police say those with any information about Genesis’ whereabouts or any possible sightings to please contact the Enterprise Police Department at 334-347-2222.
