LaGrange police are investigating a shooting Tuesday morning.

The shooting occurred in the 400 block of East Bacon Street around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026. Officers located a 41-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound to the body after they responded to the area for multiple callers reporting gunshots being fired.

Police say the victim would not provide officers with any information regarding who shot him or what led up to him being shot.

The victim was flown to a trauma center for further treatment.
