First responders are working a pedestrian involved to crash Wednesday afternoon.

Reports of the crash began coming into the newsroom around 2:30 p.m. On Wednesday, March 11, 2026. The pedestrian was struck by the vehicle in the area of Manchester Expressway near St. Francis-Emory Hospital.

The pedestrian was transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown campus emergency room for further treatment.

The roadway has since been reopened.
