Crews are on the scene of an unusual incident Monday morning.

CARE Ambulance, Ladonia Volunteer Fire Department and Phenix City Police Department were called to the area of War Eagle Drive between North Tilley Drive and South Tillery Drive around 9:35 a.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026.

A heavy-duty utility boom truck and crane manufactured by Terex Corporation was found overturned, with its extended boom appearing to have collapsed onto the back porch of a residence.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation. It is unclear at this time what led to the truck overturning, and officials have not confirmed whether there were any injuries.

The entire roof of the back porch and the structure of the porch was completely destroyed.
