UPDATE: MISSING PERSON ALERT CANCELLED

The Russell County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman from Phenix City.

According to the sheriff’s office, Elizabeth Jean Boles, 71, was last seen on Thursday, May 28, 2026, in the area of Elizabeth Way in Phenix City. Authorities say she may have traveled to Atlanta, Georgia.

Valley Rescue Mission Ad asking viewers to donate 25 dollars a month.

Investigators said Boles is believed to be living with a condition that may impair her judgment.

She was last seen wearing tan shorts, a white blouse, and carrying a pink purse.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Elizabeth Jean Boles is urged to contact the Russell County Sheriff’s Office at (334) 298-6535 or call 911.
