Auburn man arrested on child pornography charge following ICAC investigation

An Auburn man has been arrested on a child pornography charge following an investigation conducted by the Auburn Police Department and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

According to Auburn Police, officers arrested Zane Hanson Lynch, 22, of Auburn, on July 14, 2026, charging him with possession of child pornography.

The arrest stems from an investigation that began after a tip was submitted to the ICAC Task Force. Investigators were advised that images of suspected child pornography were uploaded to the internet from Auburn on April 12, 2026.

Police said a thorough investigation led authorities to identify Lynch as the suspect.
