Columbus police are investigating a triple shooting Saturday afternoon in the Benning Hills neighborhood.

The shooting occurred around 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026 on Little Drive and eventually spread to Collins Drive.

Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan says a 23-year-old JaQuaivious Jordan was pronounced dead at 1:10 p.m.

Columbus police also confirmed two others were injured.

Crime scene stretched down Little Drive, up to Collins Drive from Engineer Drive to Stonewall Drive.

The Columbus Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is on scene. The investigation remains ongoing.
