Several upcoming community events hosted by the LaGrange Police Department and LaGrange Fire Department have been rescheduled due to the potential for severe weather this weekend.
However, National Night Out will remain scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, October 7.
🚒 LaGrange Fire Department Citizens Day
The LaGrange Fire Department’s 2026 Citizens Day has been rescheduled for:
📅 Saturday, October 24
⏰ 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
📍 LaGrange Mall
The free, family-friendly event will give residents an opportunity to meet local first responders, learn about fire safety and enjoy activities for people of all ages.
💙 Faith & Blue Rescheduled
The LaGrange Police Department’s 2026 Faith & Blue events have also been rescheduled.
The Pack the Bag & Lunch event and Car Show and Praise will now take place:
📅 Sunday, October 25
⏰ Noon to 2 p.m.
📍 Southbend Park, 309 Pierce Street
The family-friendly event will include vehicle displays, praise music with youth participation and opportunities for positive interactions between law enforcement officers and members of the community.
Faith & Blue brings law enforcement and community members together through local faith-based organizations with the goal of building stronger and safer communities.
🚨 NATIONAL NIGHT OUT IS STILL TONIGHT
The LaGrange Police Department’s 2026 National Night Out will take place tonight, Wednesday, October 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Eastside Park, located at 240 Niles Street.
National Night Out is an opportunity for neighbors and law enforcement officers to come together, strengthen community relationships, promote crime and drug prevention and build support for efforts to keep local neighborhoods safe.
All three events are free and open to the public.
