Woman deceased in late Sunday night accident on 12th Avenue in Columbus
A single vehicle accident late Sunday night has left one woman deceased, authorities confirmed Monday morning.
The accident took place at the intersection of 12th Avenue and 18th Street, nearly 2-3 blocks from Piedmont Columbus Regional. Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirmed 31 year old Amanda Jernigan was pronounced dead at 11:08 P.M. on Sunday, July 3rd, at Piedmont Columbus Regional Emergency Room.
No other details have been confirmed at this time.
