Columbus Youth Detention Captain jailed on sex crimes, police announce
An investigation by Sex Crimes Unit investigators with the Columbus Police Department has led to the arrest of a youth detention facility Captain.
30-year-old Tre Robinson turned himself into Columbus law enforcement officers at the Public Safety Building on July 12, 2022, at approximately 1:40 P.M. Robinson had two outstanding warrants for Sodomy and Child Molestation resulting from an investigation completed by our Sex Crimes Unit.
At the time of the investigation, Robinson was employed with the Aaron Cohn Youth Detention Facility as a Captain.
Robinson is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in the Muscogee County Recorder’s Court on July 13, 2022, at 9:00 A.M.
