Death investigation underway in wooded area of 16th Street in Columbus
Investigators are on the scene of a death in a wooded area near the intersection of 16th Street and 5th Avenue in Columbus.
Muscogee County Deputy Coroner Dustin Harrelson and Muscogee County Deputy Coroner Elizabeth Allison are also on the scene. Columbus Department of Fire and EMS were on scene but have since left. No other details have been confirmed.
